Pulitzer Prize winner Paula Vogel (How I Learned to Drive) wrote this play in response to her brother Carl’s passing of AIDs in the 1980s. This humorous and heartbreaking memorial cleverly satirizes the government’s response to the AIDs epidemic and gives a channel in which grieving and celebration are deeply intertwined.
